Bella Skill Builders Part 3

Are you following along Fat Quarter Shop's Bella Skill Builders?

This month was PINEAPPLE BLOCKS! I was so excited to try pineapple blocks!

And now I want to make an entire quilt with them.

Pinks and blues and grays for this quilt. I'm really excited to see how this quilt will come together, so different than anything I've ever done.

It is rotary cut (no paper piecing) but I did use a special Pineapple Block ruler that I got from FQS. It's the only way I've made it but it wasn't hard so I'm saying it's the way to go!

You can look at the past few posts to see part 1 and 2. And check out Fat Quarter Shop to make your own!

It looks great! I've been watching those pineapple blocks all around and wasn't sure about paper piecing. Glad to see such success with just the rotary cutter.

I love pineapple blocks, I have thought of making one in big squares - the only other one I did was 6.5 blocks
